So, my tiny little print shop is in what used to be the garden shed in the backyard. Outside the door of my print shop we have a quite lovely little pond. This year, the water lilies have been spectacular.

The view from the pond, looking toward the printing studio.
Today, after I printed a run of cards, we went on a drive with some neighbors up to the local mountains. We explored a semi dry river bed, discovered ladybug city, caught two frogs and two salamanders. We left the ladybugs to their village, but brought the frogs and salamanders home to live in the pond. I must say, they seem quite happy here!

Happiness in our own backyard!
Hi Wendy!
Wow. I really love your work. It is wonderful. I found your work and blog on Susan’s blog. It was fun to find you, because as I looked over your blog, and then saw your kids, I realized we used to be neighbors. We lived in the tiny house on the corner of 3rd and Argonne. You taught my husband, Aaron, while he was a student at Cal State Long Beach.
Anyway, we’ve moved. 600 square feet was getting cramped for our 2 growing boys and busy little girl. It is always nice to see the old neighborhood. And it is always nice to see people pursuing their passion.
I’ll be back to check out your blog. And I’ll show Aaron. He’ll be happy to see your work too.
Cheers,
Greta
OMG…AARON E.?! What a small world.
